Camp BizSmart Alum is Founder of TiE Youth

Sameer Vij, a Camp BizSmart Alum, founded TiE Youth in 2012.  TiE Youth is  a sub conference held at TiEcon, (known as the largest entrepreneur conference in the world) for high school and college students to learn more about entrepreneurship and leadership from leaders in Silicon Valley and aboard.  At last years’ inaugural event over 600 high school and college students attended hearing from well known entrepreneurs, Vinod Khosla and Kevin Surace.    Kevin Surace is a  favorite entrepreneur and mentor who comes to Camp BizSmart each summer to share his wisdom learned from founding many companies. BizSmart grads spread entrepreneurship and inspiration

On October 22, nearly 200 high school students from the Bay Area gathered at TEDx Harker School, hearing from some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley, including Guy Kawasaki, Apple Fellow and SV venture capitalist, and Kevin Surace, CEO of Serious Energy and longtime faculty of Camp BizSmart.
