Camp BizSmart 2019 Grand Champion Team – A Helping Hand – Honored at Keiretsu Forum

Camp BizSmart’s 2019 Grand Champion Team, “A Helping Hand”, presented their bionic hand product innovation idea to the Keiretsu Forum’s Investor Expo at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 400 investors and entrepreneurs applauded the team’s solution to the Chairman of Ekso Bionics challenge to create a first of its kind “magic hand” exoskeleton to improve daily living for people who have lost hand function. The team got to meet Randy Williams, CEO, Founder of Keiretsu Forum, and the 16 executives who presented leading edge products for a variety of problems including health care, power blackouts and transportation. During the Summer of 2019, aspiring entrepreneurs came from all over the globe to the BizSmart Accelerator for a unique and out-of-the-box design challenge presented by iconic aerospace company Bell Flight, partner with Uber to obtain the first FAA approval for a flying “air taxi”. Pramukh Bhushan started the ECDE foundation after attending Camp BizSmart in 2018. Pramukh said: “Before the camp, I only had a big vision to help other kids. Camp BizSmart taught me how to convert my vision into reality. For example, in the camp, we created a product and a business plan for a nonprofit called New Story. My experience at Camp BizSmart taught me the skills needed to create your own company.
