Business Cases

At the 2016 camps, students will have the opportunity to create the next generation of product designs for Atmotube, Linden Lab – Sansar Project, Nuheara and Slice.

Atmotube is a portable air pollution monitor that constantly monitors the environment around you, measuring air pollution, detecting presence of wide range of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and harmful gases, like Carbon Monoxide (CO). Atmotube was created to raise awareness about both indoor and outdoor air quality, so you can make the right choices every day and live healthier. It is especially helpful to asthmatics and lung disease sufferers, but is also useful for parents of young children and the elderly.

Linden Lab – Project Sansar

Linden Lab is developing a new platform for user-created virtual experiences, codenamed Project Sansar, This new platform will democratize VR as a creative medium and make it easy for people to create, share, and profit from their own social virtual experiences.

Nuheara is an innovative audio wearables company that has developed proprietary and multi-functional intelligent hearing technology that augments a user’s hearing and facilitates cable free connection to smart devices. Using Nuheara’s IQbuds™, consumers can augment their hearing according to their personal hearing preferences and connect hands free with their voice enabled smart devices. Nuheara’s mission is to improve people’s lives by allowing them to seamlessly listen, communicate, and connect to their physical and digital world.

Slice’s innovative ceramic-blade is used by thousands of companies in more than 30 countries. Slice ceramic-blade safety cutters and box cutters are a safer, more cost-effective way to open corrugated boxes and cartons, eliminating the need for dangerous metal blades.
