Seventy eight Chinese students, aged 14 to 18 traveled from China to the United States with their Chaperones to attend Camp BizSmart’s Silicon Valley Innovation and Product Design Workshop held in two residential sessions at Stanford University. The first Piggybackr and Camp BizSmart crowdfunding contest for our alumni was run last fall. We had 9 projects sign up for this first time limited contest with 3 teams really making it a horse race to the finish line. Camp BizSmart made it possible for the team that raised the most money during this contest to meet with a VC and also receive up to $250.00.towards matching a donors’ gift to be used for their cause.
