The Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge invites global teams of high school students (ages 13-18) to combine education, innovation and entrepreneurship, as they work together to design the future. Student teams create products/services to solve a current challenge in one of the four categories: Aerospace & Aviation, Cyber-Technology & Security, Energy & Environment, and Health & Nutrition. The competition culminates in the final round, the Spirit of Innovation Summit, held at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on April 25-28. At Summit, the top 5 teams in each category pitch their ideas to a live panel of expert judges and network with top industry professionals and students from across the globe. The top team in each category is named a Pete Conrad Scholar, the top honor of the competition.
The founders of Camp BizSmart are honored to be judges for the Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge and to present a special award to Pete Conrad Scholars. As a complimentary organization we encourage students who are participating to also participate in one of the many Camp BizSmart product innovation and business pitch sessions. Camp BizSmart also encourages our students to consider competing in the Conrad Innovation Challenge to have additional opportunities to test their entrepreneurial skills.
